Despite all the theories, the success of a shoot boils down to how your baby feels on the day, plain and simple. And let me tell you, older babies can produce some absolutely breathtaking photos; it might just require a bit of extra patience to soothe and settle them.

So, what can you expect from a session with a baby over 3 weeks old?

While the sleepy, perfectly curled-up poses of a brand-new newborn might be less likely, we’ll pivot towards capturing your little one dressed snugly, nestled in a basket, and wide awake. You might find yourself more involved in the photoshoot, cradling your baby close, as their comfort and ease are paramount in creating stunning images.

Your baby might be wide-eyed and bushy-tailed throughout the session, eschewing sleep entirely. But rest assured, I’ll pull out all the stops to ensure we still capture some breathtaking moments for you to treasure, even if they’re more alert than anticipated.
