Why A Maternity Session?

You have had 9 wonderful (or not so wonderful) months of carrying life inside you. There is no greater miracle in the universe than this. Once that tiny baby comes out and you are so thankful you did it, you will want to remember that bump for years to come. Every mama to be is a glowing beautiful being who deserves to feel glamorous, confident and fierce.  When you choose to get professional photos of this time in your life you are capturing not only your baby bump but your essence as a woman and a mother. A captivating work of art to show your child for years to come how proud and how much you loved them from the very beginning!  Some mums don’t want to get in front of the camera, you may feel self conscious, sick, tired, swollen, but when you see these gorgeous photographs of yourself, those feelings will float away!

When Should I Book And What Should I bring With Me?

I recommend scheduling your session when you are between 28-34 weeks. Sessions can obviously be done after this time, but we want  your baby bump to be beautiful, big and gorgeous, but not so far along that you get too tired or don’t feel your best. My flexible schedule allows me to schedule your session as soon as you reach the right term in your pregnancy.  The sooner you schedule your session, the more time I will have to find the perfect time and date for you!  All you need to do is contact me for dates and times available. I have a white maternity dress and lots of materials we can use to create beautiful elegant maternity photographs. We also recommend you bring along a fitted dress and any other outfits you would like to try during the shoot.

Why A New Born Shoot?

When life is happening all around you, it is hard to stop and remember the amazing details that make up that little miracle you just brought into the world. You are trying to get used to sleepless nights, new feeding schedules, a ton of dirty nappies, and for some, juggling multiple kiddos now. The first few weeks can be a blur. When you hire an photographer to take precious photos of your new addition, you are investing in a lifetime of memories that you can continue to look upon and cherish forever. Your sweet newborn baby may grow in an instant, but the photos of every tiny toe, nose and squish will be forever documented for you!

When Should I Book And What Should I bring With Me?

The best time to bring your new born for their first photoshoot is between birth to 14 days. I usually will spend between 1-2 hours with your bundle of adorableness and I encourage you to bring your baby’s siblings and to take family and parent photos as well. Babies will be posed Au Natural or in adorable outfits, hats and wraps. Each luxury newborn experience is custom tailored to your specific theme and/or preferences and each outfit, backdrop, prop and accessory will be chosen specifically toward your session to make it perfectly unique. There will be overloads of cuteness as I pose your baby in adorable ways and pose them in the cutest blankets and baskets you’ve ever seen!
